1.this experiment works only at night because real crystals cannot form naturally for 24 hours.
2.the list of things i saw are:clean jar,hot water,pack of powdered alum,two spoons,pipe cleaners,paper clip,pencil,paper towel.
3.it only works overnight for this experiment because if it does not grow overnight then it won't form naturally.
4.if they have time to grow most minerals dissolved in water will form crystals.
5.this experiment will work overnight.
