A Coal Miner’s Bride
In the beginning of A Coal Miner’s Bride, Anetka meets a man named Leon a man of Cecar’s the president of the place where they live. He torments her, makes fun of her ,and is mean to her. My favorite part is when she moves to America because her father found her a husband. A year after she got married, her husband died in a mine. At the end of the book, she married Leon.
I liked this book because it was a heartwarming story about an 13 year old young lady that had a very rough life. When she married Stanley ,she wasn’t very happy but when he died in the coal mine she also wasn’t happy.
The main character is named Anetka Kaminska who is 13 years old.S he is a fair person with a warm heart. She cared for Stanley's girls when he died in the mine.
