     The book, Wonder by R.J Palicio, is a story about a boy with birth defects and he tries to fit in with the ordinary kids.

     August Pullman tries to fit in and everyone thinks he is a freak. If someone touches August, they run screaming. August faces a class bully who hates him and always calls him a freak. When August hears his best friend calling him a freak, he runs away crying.

    In my opinion, wonder is a sad story and has really sad and violent parts.(It is mostly sad.) I think this book should be for ages 9 and up because of the sadness.

    This book is fun to read and it is one of the best books ever. I highly recommend Wonder the story of an extraordinary boy.
