Inside out and Back Again
Book Review
Inside out and Back Again by Thanhha Lai is mostly about a great but sad book.
I would recommend this to people that would want to know what it’s like to move countries,
Because of war and getting bullied. It would be great for kids. It is great for it’s rewards it has won. (which Inside out and back again has won 2 awards)
The book is about how a girl named Ha and her family have to move to America because of war. Then Ha is getting bullied in America at school because a pink plump boy is bullying her
Because Ha is from Asia. But getting help from Ha’s teachers, and his brother by teaching her
Self defense.
Ha and the family move to America to get a better life in America. The family gets jobs and Ha is going to school, the family gets a host family in America to help Ha and her family understand the country and the culture of America better
In Conclusion, this book would be great to know what it feels to be a refugee. (I would give this book **** stars)
