It’s not Christmas without Grandma and Grandpa.The One and only Maryellen by Valire Tripp is a must read.This book is based on August-December of 1954.In this story a nine year girl named Maryellen has lots of ups and downs in her Florida life. One of the many is christmas. Since she lives in florida Maryellen does not get a tv christmas,so she takes a train all by herself to see her grandma and grandpa. But when she gets there on christmas eve she feels home sick. Her grandparents start to drive her to florida that night.Will they make it home in time for christmas.This is a favorite of mine.I recommend this for ages 8 and up.

Second, What really the problem is he is starting to get bad grades and gina is happy about that because they are enemies so that starts a big fight that leads them into student council but Nate is just trying to beat gina at something so he does not beat gina.

Suddenly, he tries his best in class and he is doing much in class plus his grades are going up he is now much better than Gina in

more things now.

A Story of One Amazing Class

            “Seven kids, one class, and one amazing teacher.”

This quote came from the book “Because of mr.terupt”. Seven kids named Danielle, Peter, Alexia, Jeffery, Anna, Jessica, Luke, and last but not least Mr. Terupt, these people make up a class in 5th grade. These remarkable characters main spend the school year in the class and in the hospital.

These kids have to suffer because when snow started to fall, the seven kids were told that they could play outside by Mr. Terupt. One kid threw a snowball, which was the biggest mistake of his life, he put Mr. Terupt in a… coma.

These kids did not only have to suffer Mr. Terupts coma-problem but have to suffer their own problems. All seven kids solve their bullying problems and somehow solve their parents problems.

I feel that the author tried to tell you that bullying does not solve anything, and that not always to rely on teachers or parents to solve problems for you. The author is trying to say YOU can fix your own problems, and to help others with their own problems (sometimes) to help find a solution.

I really like this book because every night my dad would say  “Lights out!”  While I was still reading the book. So I would turn off the lights but, take out a flashlight and keep reading! This shows that it is impossible to put this book down until you know what happens to not only Mr.Terupt, but you start to really wonder what is going to happen to the kids!

The author of the book is Nick Bruel. It was when bad kitty was going to take a bath,and it was when bad kitty was trying to hide from his owner. The main characters of the the book is bad kitty and the owner. The main problem of the book is when the owner is trying to give bad kitty a bath.Until the owner got bad kitty in to the bath. In the book kitty was hissing and was not in a good mood after she got out of the bath,and the thing to solve the problem was to hide from the owner. When the owner found kitty he was going to pet bad kitty but bad kitty hissed at the owner. It was because she was mad at the owner. After that the owner was going to pick up bad kitty. Kitty did not want the owner to pick her up but the owner pick bad kitty up. Then when the owner picked up bad kitty clawed the owner.

Agust’s life in his neighbor hood is hard.Well that is what he thinks.Meet Agust who meets new people and he is about to have one big adventure

August has some issues with his face.But his mom and his dad keep talking about agust going to middle school because he is homeschooled by his mother.But August Declines the invitation he has some second thoughts.

Now that August has accepted the offer to his school he goes on one big school tour!He meets some new people such as MR.Tushman,Mrs.Garcia,Jack,Charlotte,and Julian. August is learning more about everybody by the minute!

I like Wonder by R.D Policia and I recommend it to others because I want everybody to Know what it is like to be different. Also I want people to know that looks do not matter and that you can always make new friends.
