The Magician's Nephew

The Magician’s Nephew     by C.S Lewis

Summary

The Magician’s Nephew is a great book for people who like action and detail. Action and Detail are one of the many things that C.S. Lewis (the author of this book) is good at doing in his books.

First, two friends named Digory and Polly adventure to Digory’s atic. They do this because when they met, they wanted to have a little playdate kind of thing together somewhere in Digory’s house.

Next, they find Digory’s Uncle Andrew (the Magician) atic. Polly is allowed to put a ring that she wished to keep on, but she teleports out of the world. Before this happened, she asked Digory’s Uncle Andrew for one, and he said yes.

After that, Digory puts his ring on to go and save her. He teleports to an odd place and finds her.

Finally, they use their magical rings to continue their magical adventure.

                               Review

I am a fan of this book because there are many adventures and magic.

First, one of my favorite parts is when they had to get back home so they put their rings on, jumped into a small pool in a different world and teleported!

Also, I really like when they ride the flying horse named Fledge. I like this part because I have never seen a flying horse in my life.

You should really read this book! It is a great book for ages 9-11. It will give you a great understanding literature and about being an author!!
